Featured speaker: John Mueter
John Mueter is a pianist, vocal coach, educator and writer living in Kansas City. Now retired, he was formerly on the faculties of the UMKC Conservatory and the School of Music at KU, as well as participating in various summer music programs such as Theatre Internationale in Leysin, Switzerland; the Seagle Music Colony in Schroon Lake, New York; the Clear Creek Festival in Halfway, Oregon; and the American Institute for Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. He has had over 40 short stories and poems published in many different journals. He identifies as a humanist, atheist, and practicing Buddhist.
