Featured speaker: Jeanette Baugh, “Empowered Against Book Bans”

Jeanette Baugh is a retired California attorney and retired high school teacher. She taught grades 9-12, received her certification in teaching advanced placement from the University of California, Riverside, taught advanced placement English Literature for 15 years, worked as both a reader and table leader for the AP English Lit Exam for College Board, was both a Fellow and Facilitator for the Inland Area Writing Project and the National Writing Project, was a member of the California Association of Teachers of English and the National Council of Teachers of English, and also served as a Grade Level Leader for grades 11 and 12 and on her district’s Curriculum Committee for English, as well as the English Department’s union representative in the Associated Chaffey Teachers’ Union.
