Twyla Dell, Ph.D., is a lifelong environmental educator, having created and led the Environmental Leadership Program in Kansas City for the Foresight Institute for seven years, from 1990 to 1997. She returned to graduate school in 2001 and earned a Ph.D. in environmental studies in 2009. She focused on the anatomy of energy transitions and has since published three books on the action we need to take now that will produce the effect we need to really help stop climate change with the next five to seven years. Her three books are “Fueling Change: How We Created Climate Change One Fuel at a Time,” “Goodnight Gasoline: How to Win the Climate-Change Challenge,” and “The Gasoline Diary: Drive Less, Walk More, Save the Planet.”
