When we talk about videogames, the image of a sedentary, slack-eyed individual clutching a controller as they shoot their way through the opposing team. However, as technology has improved across the board, so has videogaming – not only in terms of bringing us greater experiences through the internet and virtual reality, but also in terms of keeping us active. Although exergaming has a history almost as long as videogames themselves, the trend has recently picked up and become more viable.
