KC Oasis Volunteers at Scraps KC

Scraps KC 3269 Roanoke Road, Kansas City, MO

Volunteer with fellow Oasians at Scraps KC! Their mission is to get used or excess art supplies and materials to artists, teachers, makers, and scouts who can use them. They've diverted over 300 tons of material from landfills. We'll be volunteering in their warehouse by sorting inventory, packing and grouping materials, setting up displays and organizing things. They ask that all volunteers wear modest clothing for the season and closed-toed shoes. Their warehouse is not temperature regulated, so dressing in layers is highly recommended. You might also want to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. They can accommodate...
