  How many lives will YOU save August 26? Community Blood Center (CBC) is the primary supplier of blood for local hospitals and has been serving Missouri and Kansas hospitals for more than 50 years. CBC needs to collect 580 pints of blood every day and over 140,000 annually to meet the needs of our local hospitals. Kansas City Oasis is hosting a blood drive Sunday, August 26, from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on CBC's donor bus. "Human Hands Solve Human Problems" We have adopted Swarner Park in Shawnee, KS, and will be doing a picnic and cleanup on September 6th at 6 p.m. After this cleanup we will earn a sign indicating that the park has been adopted by Kansas City Oasis! This cleanup will take place 4 times a year, so if you can't join us next week, there will be more opportunities. This is a family-friendly activity!
